University Relations Holiday Party Invitation
For the annual University Relations holiday party, the theme was "Nightmare Before Nondenominational Winter Celebration" — and leaned into the macabre as inspiration for the decoration, activities, and especially the invitations for attendees. Even the venue fit the part – attendes gathered at the Red Room at Loring Pasta Bar, where they mingled among dim lighting and red velvet curtains.
We had even recruited a relative of one of our team members to offer tarot reading for curious attendees – and so the invitations were inspired tarot cards. The party details were printed on the face of the invitation cards, and the back design featured an illustration of a macabre Santa-skeleton-reindeer-hybrid to suit the theme.
